Infinite Train is an electronic sound work by Sol Rezza for four channels based on the concept of generative composition, in which a sound loop is modified, amplified and fed back to generate an immersive sound piece. “Like a mantra, the sound of the train cradled whoever was carried away by the rhythm, the movement and the changing landscape that appeared in the adjoining rectangle” The artwork was presented for the unique presentation within the framework of Proyecto Tanque, a research and dissemination project in Art and Science that arose from the interaction between the UNSAM (Universidad Nacional de San Martín) and the UNLP (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), which summoned several artists from different disciplines to create sound works for specific sites. The space where the performance was presented, Auditorio Tanque, is an old fuel tank for trains located in the San Martín University Campus.
