Halle Klang Karte is an album composed by Sol Rezza that mixes experimental music, soundscapes, and interviews from different parts of the German city of Halle (Saale). This album results from an experimental sound mapping made during the Radio Art Residency at Radio Corax in 2018. In this map of experimental works that play between radio art and experimental music, we find a diverse journey that goes from a multicultural journey that reflects the migration of this small city to the reinterpretation of the paintings and photographs made by the American artist Lyonel Feininger of the city of Halle (Saale) in the 30s. The importance of salt in the city’s history and the European economy, the wall of illusion by the artist Hans Joachim Triebsch together with selected soundscapes that take us by the hand through the streets and historical places of an unexpected place.
