All is Waves is an audiovisual work of binaural sound produced by Sol Rezza e Lucía Rotania for the virtual gallery of the MUTEK Montreal 2020 Festival. “…I insist on the opinion that everything is waves.” wrote physicist Erwin Schrödinger in a letter to mathematician John Lighton Synge in 1959. This surrealistic narrative explores the complexity of the spatiality of sound and deep listening. Taking as a starting point the thought that everything in the universe is matter and energy in a space-time. This work opens the door to enter the world of sound from the point of view of sound waves as clusters of energy that are released in a determined space.
